At our doctor's appointment this morning - 39 weeks - we finally got some news. Seems that I am starting to develop Pregnancy Induced Hypertension and am slipping a little bit into the preliminary stages of Toxemia. And while all of that sounds scary, the good news is that Dr. T. is looking very closely at induction. So, this Friday (2 days from now) we go back. Check to see how things are and then make our move. He's provided us with 3 options...1. do nothing (yeah right!), 2. admit to the hospital on Saturday and begin induction or 3. admit to the hospital on Friday and begin softening the cervix and then induce Saturday morning. So, that said, with bated breath, looks like we should welcome Mason this weekend. Say a prayer for us and we'll keep you all posted.
